This job has a great blend; it allows you to get in lots of steps, with lots of breaks while driving between stops; you get to be a part of your team, but while working independently. This role is essential; the medical courier picks up and delivers laboratory specimens timely so they can be processed and used to help diagnose and determine treatment for patients.

Description

Deliver, pick up, and distribute mail, stock, supplies, and specimens between departments and other destinations.

Typical Requirements: 

  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  3. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
  5. Ability to adapt to accommodate special requests.
  6. Ability to operate a mobile phone.

Preferred Qualifications: 

    1. Previous courier experience
    2. Knowledge of transportation routes within the community.

Pay Ranges

Base Hourly: $17 per hour
Annual: $35000 – $52000

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
