As a Patient/Provider Relations Representative, you document and investigate patient concerns. You reach out to department leadership and providers to help resolve individual issues and identify systemic problems. The right person can digest patient frustration and anger and turn it into a resolution and satisfaction.


Assists patients with questions and concerns regarding patient care and company services; provides feedback to physicians and staff to help improve the quality of services provided.

Typical Requirements: 

  1. Three years of experience working with the public in a healthcare setting.
  2. Excellent telephone, communication, and listening skills.
  3. Effectively communicate with sometimes difficult or irate individuals.
  4. Excellent presentation skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  6. Basic word processing computer skills (Access, Word)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  1. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Pay Ranges

Base Hourly: $27 per hour
Annual: $56000 – $87000

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Est. Experience Required: 3 years
