Do you enjoy protecting others? Are you observant? This is the job for you. As a security guard, you keep a watch over the clinic. You are friendly the patients and staff but will help remove those that need to be removed.

Description

Maintains a friendly but authoritative presence on Clinic property. Assists patients and staff as needed. Ejects unwelcome persons from premises and contacts supervisors and/or law enforcement as needed.

Typical Requirements: 

  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Good written and oral communication skills.
  3. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
  5. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  6. Ability to operate pager and cellular phone.
  7. Ability to exercise mature judgment and decision-making.
  8. Ability to diffuse/deescalate hostile persons
  9. Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  1. Previous security experience.
  2. Previous experience working outdoors.
  3. Previous customer service experience.

Pay Ranges

Base Hourly: $18 per hour
Annual: $37000 – $56000

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
