A successful HR assistant maintains good boundaries with colleagues to ensure impartiality in dealing with conflict resolution. A successful HR assistant must be able to act as both an employee advocate and enforcer company policy. Integrity and accuracy are important components of their work, as it can be used to make impactful employment decisions.

Description

  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
  • Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
  • Assist HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
  • Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Participate in engagement activities and milestone celebrations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs. Ability to type 50 words per minute.
  3. Proficient in written and oral communications – able to spell correctly and demonstrate good writing skills.
  4. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and the public.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  6. Ability to read, interprets, and apply policy and legal requirements.
  7. Ability to adapt to changing assignments and work pace.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  1. Associates Degree in business related field.
  2. Two years experience working in a human resources department.
  3. Previous experience working in a medical environment.

Pay Ranges

Base Hourly: $19 per hour
Annual: $40000 – $50000
